Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, there is a minimum deposit of $250 for all our vehicles.

Can I make a booking online?

Yes, you can book online through this website.

How do I pay for my rental?

Deposit refunds are processed the same day as vehicle is returned. Deposits may take 3-5 working days to become available in your account depending on bank processing times.

When will I receive my deposit back?

The refund are done same day as vehicle return but may take 3-5 working days of bank processing time to become available in your account.

Is there any credit card surcharge?

No, there is no surcharge on credit cards. Only on Amex.

Do I have to pay for the fuel?

Yes, vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as it was received on pick up. Customer to pay for fuel used during hire period.

How can I use tolls?

Customers can use their own E-tag for toll roads. If no E-tag then customer is responsible to pay for tolls used during the hire period including admin fee.

Are the vehicles insured?

Yes, all our vehicles are insured but they have a standard excess. You have an option of reducing the standard excess to a minimum amount.

What is the minimum age to hire a car from you?

Minimum age is 21 years old.

Can drivers with international license hire a vehicle?

Yes, all international drivers are welcome providing they have a valid driving licence.

Can drivers with Provisional license hire a vehicle?

Yes, we accept both; Red and Green P-platers but with a additional surcharge per day.

Can I add additional drivers?

Yes, Additional Drivers can be added during the time of your bookings. Additional charges may apply.

Can I extend the rental duration?

Extending the rental duration may be possible at time of check out or during the rental period. Customer can request an extension by calling or visiting one of our offices. Any request for extension is subject to vehicle availability and successful payment of extension period in advance.

Can anyone other than me drive a car?

Only approved drivers noted on the Rental Agreement are permitted to drive. Upon collection of your vehicle, each driver must be listed on the Rental Agreement and they must present their drivers licence at time of collection.

Is there any roadside assistance available?

Yes, all our vehicles come with free NRMA 24/7 Roadside assistance.

What if I damage the vehicle?

Renters are liable for any damage to the vehicle. They need to pay the standard excess amount for the given vehicle. If the standard excess has been reduced then they are liable to pay the mentioned minimum excess.

What if I have an accident?

If you have an accident, you should do the following things first:

  1. Consider your safety and make sure you don’t leave the vehicle.
  2. Write down names, addresses and licence details of all people involved and any witnesses.
  3. Contact the police immediately and emergency services if anyone is injured.
  4. Contact SRAC office
